In the 10th match minute, Laurita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Claes Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Anastasio Cordario was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Anastasio Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Laurita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Cordario couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Laurita FC's Nicanor Mederi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Damm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Gotham City's Claes Abrahamsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Clodoveo Delfino. In the 31st match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Svartengren to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Wester to maneuver through the defense. Laurita FC's Clodoveo Delfino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Laurita FC from getting a goal against them. Nicanor Mederi might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Damm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Mederi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute of the match Anastasio Cordario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ove Damm skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Laurita FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nicanor Mederi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Åman got free with Clodoveo Delfino in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Mederi in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Damm saved Gotham City from getting behind. The Gotham City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laurita FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Santiago Lleir made the kick off in the second half. Ove Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Lleir was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 55th match minute, Laurita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Oinatz to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Åman in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Delfino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Emeterio during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 minutes of play, Gotham City's Helge Lundin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Mederi in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes Gotham City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anastasio Cordario who took care of the corner kick. Ove Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Mederi in the 82nd minute of the match. Laurita FC's Clodoveo Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Åman in the 92nd minute of play. Clodoveo Delfino came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gotham City's Alvin Kinnman. But to his dismay, Alvin Kinnman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Laurita FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
