The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chinto Buenafuente helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gotham City booed when SC Pfullendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chinto Buenafuente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipo Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Åman in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ioseba Candela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pfullendorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gotham City the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's Ioseba Candela got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute Alvin Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipo Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th play minute Alvin Kinnman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Felipo Ramirez. 1-0. Gudesteo Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Pfullendorf getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Isidro Diez hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Jan Åman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipo Ramirez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvin Kinnman went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Åman in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipo Ramirez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 29th minute of the match Gudesteo Santiago completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gudesteo Santiago a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Helge Lundin got a free kick in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gotham City's Bo Thidén slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felipo Ramirez. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. After 44 played minutes SC Pfullendorf got a freekick which was hit by Presebal Japón. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cecilio Ortiz made a kick off. A collision led to SC Pfullendorf getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Chinto Buenafuente hit a great ball. Presebal Japón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Damm having to interfere. In the 57th minute Cecilio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Isidro Diez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pfullendorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gotham City the free kick. In the 60th minute, Isidro Diez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jan Åman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipo Ramirez was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After having played for 68 minutes, Alvin Kinnman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gotham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvin Kinnman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Cecilio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Åman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipo Ramirez came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Gotham City's Jan Åman. But to his dismay, Jan Åman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Helge Lundin charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Lundin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when Gotham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gotham City had won after a very even match.
