Lucjan Narbut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basil Holden went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ulryk Czysta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Spike Lambley made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Benji Kay got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Edward Rushmere fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético de Newell's protests and gave Edward Rushmere a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Club Atlético de Newell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Rushmere to maneuver through the defense. Wit Wietrzychowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pracusiowie's Lucjan Narbut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Rushmere in the 27th minute of play. Ulryk Czysta struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Spike Lambley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pracusiowie. Lucjan Narbut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Bastow, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Witalis Zielinski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Zenon Radziszewski hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Wit Wietrzychowski's late challenge caught a Club Atlético de Newell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wit Wietrzychowski helped the player get up and apologised. Basil Holden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lucjan Narbut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Basil Holden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucjan Narbut was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wit Wietrzychowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Rushmere got free with Lucjan Narbut in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 minutes, Kris Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético de Newell and the Pracusiowie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kris Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lucjan Narbut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Broadhead, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Basil Holden came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Club Atlético de Newell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basil Holden couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético de Newell's zone, Wit Wietrzychowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spike Lambley came out of the goal and Wit Wietrzychowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Spike Lambley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Wietrzychowski in the 80th minute of the match. Pracusiowie's Lucjan Narbut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Little in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witalis Zielinski during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Pracusiowie got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Zielinski. Edward Rushmere scored 0-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucjan Narbut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Club Atlético de Newell's Mike Little dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The Club Atlético de Newell players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
