The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Mané de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Pihlblad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Michel Morata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Peter Pihlgren clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. Rubinho Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Brander to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Jernberg. Michel Ibrahimovic took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Ibrahimovic in the 22nd minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gudmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Brander in the 24th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Décio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Ibrahimovic came free, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Brander during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Henrik Brander hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Henrik Brander made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute of the match Rubinho Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ADM Taquaras's Michel Morata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. That made the score 0-6 after 54 minutes of play. In the 61st minute, Michel Ibrahimovic made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 77 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Michel Ibrahimovic nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. ADM Taquaras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
