Elberg Largan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Base in the 4th minute of the match. Mirco Redepenning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Pinto in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frido Stumpf in the 9th minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Elberg Largan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elberg Largan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frido Stumpf, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Mirco Redepenning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Pinto in the 14th minute. Jack Neffin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With his leg Mirco Redepenning managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Celta de Virgos's Bonifacio Pinto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mirco Redepenning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Presebal in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Bonifacio Pinto could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Mirco Redepenning however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frido Stumpf in the 41st minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Elberg Largan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Konstantin Hirte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elberg Largan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goal looked a bit too open when Leslie Knuth came free, but Elberg Largan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Carolo Illart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celta de Virgos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Give Peace a Chance the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Frowerk during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Baleren helped the player get up and apologised. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
