In the 13th minute, Ahmet Necdet Veysel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Christian Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Conny Ånger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibet Özbilgin in the 20th minute. Thomas Pilberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuh Akkuş. Trabzon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pelle Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trabzon's Nuh Akkuş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Thorsberg in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Ahmet Necdet Veysel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Veysel in the 32nd minute of play. Nuh Akkuş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Holm in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Thorsberg in the 37th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Nuh Akkuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Necdet Veysel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Thorsberg in the 47th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Nuh Akkuş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Necdet Veysel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Necdet Veysel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Conny Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Necdet Veysel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Ånger having to interfere. Trabzon's Nuh Akkuş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Holm in the 58th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Muhammet Onbulak kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Lions FC's zone, Tibet Özbilgin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Ånger came out of the goal and Tibet Özbilgin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conny Ånger didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Trabzon's Ahmet Necdet Veysel shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Pelle Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Conny Ånger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Necdet Veysel's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Evert Ahlgren. In the 82nd minute, Christian Thorsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuh Akkuş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Holm in the 84th minute of play. When Evert Ahlgren came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Ahlgren couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Trabzon's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Holm came free, but Nuh Akkuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Tibet Özbilgin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trabzon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
