After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Frigyes Keserű stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Vedillo came out of the goal and Frigyes Keserű tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliciano Eleazar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Adan Vedillo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Péter Tóth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Ramos in the 23rd minute of play forced Bayern München FC.'s goalkeeper Endre Szabó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Vedillo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Péter Tóth was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adan Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levente Csizmadia in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márió Vörös to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Márió Vörös's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adan Vedillo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Racing Club were furious when Aquilino Perrando was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Levente Csizmadia took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adan Vedillo.
