Terry Kieffer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harry zu Castell-Rüdenhausen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Karl Biörling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Malmö Torpedos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. But to his dismay, Michael Bismarck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 29th minute, Luca Ludwick made a precise shot to the right of Karl Biörling. Malmö Torpedos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerry Taube during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Bismarck scored 5-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Biörling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl Biörling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Ludwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Bismarck in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl Biörling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 41st minute, Maximilian Diederich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45thth minute of the game Michael Bismarck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malmö Torpedos's Karl Biörling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerry Pihlgren's late challenge caught a FC Lëtzebuerg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerry Pihlgren helped the player get up and apologised. Hermann Blumenthal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl Biörling. Malmö Torpedos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Michael Bismarck made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, FC Lëtzebuerg's Michael Bismarck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Biörling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. After 54 played minutes Malmö Torpedos got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Pihlgren. Luca Ludwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Karl Biörling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Biörling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Bismarck in the 57th minute of the match. If Maximilian Diederich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malmö Torpedos's Karl Biörling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Diederich in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Diederich in the 65th minute of play forced Malmö Torpedos's goalkeeper Karl Biörling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Biörling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Ludwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Michael Bismarck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Biörling was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Gerd Hilpert's late challenge caught a Malmö Torpedos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerd Hilpert helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Bismarck scored 8-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Biörling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximilian Diederich struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Karl Biörling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lëtzebuerg. Karl Biörling came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Michael Bismarck. But to his dismay, Michael Bismarck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-2. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
