In the 20th minute, Veth Crystals's Zachariasz Wodaszak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Félicien Guigou. Félicien Guigou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Drugi in the 25th minute of play forced Triez's goalkeeper Félicien Guigou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacôme Deléglise in the 29th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Barnaba Kaczynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Triez booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Drugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Triez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Bézard to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Zachariasz Wodaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félicien Guigou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renaud Dufils during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
