But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Mavrogheni couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Kolacki in the 5th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Răzvan Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Achiriloaie to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Domeracki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Mavrogheni in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Mavrogheni in the 11th minute of play forced KOLIBER OCYPEL's goalkeeper Herbert Domeracki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Domeracki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Mavrogheni in the 12th minute of the match. Club Vertigo's Răzvan Mirciulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Simionescu in the 18th minute of play forced KOLIBER OCYPEL's goalkeeper Herbert Domeracki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Rode hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Dan Berceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Berceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Berceanu to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Dumitru Mavrogheni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Domeracki. KOLIBER OCYPEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Mavrogheni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Răzvan Mirciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Zaremba. With a little luck, Club Vertigo's Răzvan Mirciulescu got control of the ball when Florian Kolacki tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to KOLIBER OCYPEL getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Czeslaw Klocko hit a great ball. Club Vertigo's Dumitru Mavrogheni got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Domeracki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Mavrogheni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boruc Zaremba was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Florian Kolacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOLIBER OCYPEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Kolacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Bobrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Răzvan Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Budrewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. KOLIBER OCYPEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Vertigo the free kick. In the 67th minute, Boruc Zaremba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Galiceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Galiceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KOLIBER OCYPEL booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Galiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dan Berceanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 73rd minute, Dan Berceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Marian Budrewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOLIBER OCYPEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Budrewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Czeslaw Klocko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Mirciulescu. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Mirciulescu should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute Marian Budrewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Czeslaw Klocko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Răzvan Mirciulescu. Club Vertigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Czeslaw Klocko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Dobromir Rode fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOLIBER OCYPEL's protests and gave Dobromir Rode a yellow card for diving instead. There was no doubt that KOLIBER OCYPEL were the better team. KOLIBER OCYPEL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
