The GoldDiam V55 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Jerold Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Vlad Doroftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Balbanea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petru Căliman was a little too slow when Jerico Villafana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in GoldDiam V55's zone, Porfirio Garza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petru Căliman came out of the goal and Porfirio Garza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Doroftei in the 26th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Santos Balbanea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Montevideo City Torque's Jerold Avila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Montevideo City Torque's Santos Balbanea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Postelnicu in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, GoldDiam V55's Petru Căliman got control of the ball when Jerold Avila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Porfirio Garza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerold Avila's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Petru Căliman firmly grabbed it by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, GoldDiam V55's Valer Postelnicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Balbanea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerold Avila to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as GoldDiam V55's Valer Postelnicu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santos Balbanea. That made the score 2-4 after 52 minutes of play. Montevideo City Torque's Santos Balbanea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. Petru Căliman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerold Avila in the 60th minute of the match. With his leg Santos Balbanea managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when GoldDiam V55's Vlad Doroftei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68th match minute, GoldDiam V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Postelnicu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vlad Doroftei got free with Santos Balbanea in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Postelnicu came free, but Santos Balbanea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vlad Doroftei in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Balbanea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute Emil Iosif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Balbanea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Postelnicu in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Balbanea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the game, Vlad Doroftei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Santos Balbanea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Vlad Doroftei made a precise shot to the right of Santos Balbanea. Montevideo City Torque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Santos Balbanea was a little too slow when Ernest Capșuneanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-7. GoldDiam V55's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
