But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordão Serpa couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Sadurni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordão Serpa's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Angrense's zone, Júlí Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Lima came out of the goal and Júlí Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Júlí Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Angrense's Jordão Serpa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Primitivo Sadurni. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. In the 26th minute, Jordão Serpa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Primitivo Sadurni. The goal made the score 3-0. Primitivo Sadurni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artur Rego showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, SC Angrense's Jordão Serpa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Primitivo Sadurni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Jordão Serpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Sadurni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jordão Serpa in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordão Serpa got free with Primitivo Sadurni in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Sadurni made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jordão Serpa sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 54th match minute, Yo Soy Tu Padre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlí Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Artur Rego's late challenge caught a Yo Soy Tu Padre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Rego helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Artur Rego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Yo Soy Tu Padre booed when SC Angrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregório Lages didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Walme came free in the 64th minute and tried to tip the ball over Eduardo Lima, but to the joy of SC Angrense's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Eduardo Lima didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 5-1. Jordão Serpa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, SC Angrense's Jordão Serpa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Primitivo Sadurni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 83 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Serpa came free, but Primitivo Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Angrense's goalkeeper Eduardo Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Yo Soy Tu Padre got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Lain. Júlí Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Lima having to interfere. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Yo Soy Tu Padre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlí Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
