In the 7th match minute, BOA VISTA E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Neto to maneuver through the defense. Zé Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Sindo in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Sindo in the 13th minute of play forced BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper Zé Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Diego Eterno from getting a goal against them. Modesto Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Sanches in the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Tony Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Modesto Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
