When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, FC BaLiSt's Manole Secară got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gigio Buffon. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Paveliuc in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Emil Șeimeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Ulisses Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Régis Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BaLiSt's Horaţiu Deleanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Gómez hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Vâlcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Horaţiu Deleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Batista in the 25th minute of the match. Horaţiu Deleanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Vâlcu came free, but Gigio Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Régis Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The HollywooDogs fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when HollywooDogs's Régis Batista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Régis Batista got free with Horaţiu Deleanu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Recife to maneuver through the defense. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Vâlcu in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC BaLiSt fans cheered their team off the field, for while HollywooDogs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
