Spectators: 193 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Graeme Draper started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mordham FC's Abraham Pringle got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Gheție came free, but Vern Haper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Cucerzan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Waller in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes, Dumitru Tolea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dark Prophets and the Mordham FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Dark Prophets got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Tolea. Vern Haper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Tolea in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Dumitru Sasu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dark Prophets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Vern Haper came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Prophets's Mihăiţă Gheție. But to his dismay, Mihăiţă Gheție quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vern Haper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Isvoreanu in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Olimpiu Isvoreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dark Prophets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After some careless play in the Mordham FC defense, Sandu Ardeleanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vern Haper. The Mordham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vern Haper should have stopped the shot. Mordham FC's Abraham Pringle got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Abraham Pringle off the ground. A collision led to Mordham FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abraham Pringle hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Olimpiu Isvoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vern Haper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 46 minutes on the clock, Constantin Cârstea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th minute, one of Dark Prophets:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dark Prophets. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dumitru Tolea was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Dark Prophets's Dumitru Tolea made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vern Haper was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radu Cucerzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Draper, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goalkeeper Vern Haper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dumitru Tolea. After some careless play in the Mordham FC defense, Olimpiu Isvoreanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vern Haper. The Mordham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vern Haper should have stopped the shot. Vern Haper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Isvoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mordham FC defense, Olimpiu Isvoreanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vern Haper. The Mordham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vern Haper should have stopped the shot. Harry Lewington hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dumitru Tolea in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vern Haper, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mordham FC's Vern Haper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Mordham FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Dark Prophets's Olimpiu Isvoreanu got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute Graeme Draper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Cucerzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sandu Ardeleanu fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Prophets's protests and gave Sandu Ardeleanu a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Isvoreanu in the 100th minute of play forced Mordham FC's goalkeeper Vern Haper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Dark Prophets could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mordham FC throughout the match.
