Dark Prophets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simón Chavez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Dark Prophets's goal looked a bit too open when Mannuel Cofquecura came free, but Radu Cucerzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Cucerzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zelipe Claro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Zorros del Desierto's Zelipe Claro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radu Cucerzan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zelipe Claro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Radu Cucerzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelipe Claro in the 27th minute of play forced Dark Prophets's goalkeeper Radu Cucerzan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Mannuel Cofquecura made a precise shot to the right of Radu Cucerzan. Dark Prophets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Radu Cucerzan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mannuel Cofquecura in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Zorros del Desierto's Zelipe Claro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radu Cucerzan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dark Prophets's Radu Cucerzan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mannuel Cofquecura in the 36th minute of play. Zorros del Desierto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduard Dighero in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Mannuel Cofquecura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorros del Desierto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mannuel Cofquecura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radu Cucerzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simón Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Dark Prophets getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ionică Dimofte hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Romano Milan got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th match minute, Dark Prophets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Tolea to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Zorros del Desierto were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dumitru Tolea made a kick off. Paulo Almi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Cucerzan having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Dark Prophets's Constantin Cârstea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Constantin Cârstea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dark Prophets protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Constantin Cârstea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Constantin Cârstea kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Eduard Dighero came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Zorros del Desierto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Dighero couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Dark Prophets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Dimofte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zelipe Claro got free with Radu Cucerzan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Dumitru Tolea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Zorros del Desierto's Zelipe Claro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radu Cucerzan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Américo Taylor in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Radu Cucerzan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Zelipe Claro could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Radu Cucerzan however easily saved by the left post. Romano Milan struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Radu Cucerzan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. Dark Prophets's Radu Cucerzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. Radu Cucerzan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zelipe Claro in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Dark Prophets booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Alejandro Darrigrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Simón Chavez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Cucerzan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dumitru Tolea fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Prophets's protests and gave Dumitru Tolea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Dark Prophets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Tolea to maneuver through the defense. Dark Prophets's Radu Cucerzan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. Olimpiu Isvoreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olimpiu Isvoreanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Dark Prophets fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zorros del Desierto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
