Durvalino Carioca started the match with the kick off. Enéas Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Lindberg in the 6th minute of play forced Bastioes EC's goalkeeper João Paulo Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvald Hellström was a little too slow when Cauan Mineiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 17 minutes, Alexandre Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bastioes EC and the Gnaget United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Bueno hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nicky Butt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bastioes EC booed when Gnaget United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Dahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Eduardo Rocha hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Wilson Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Paulo Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Pihlblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Osvald Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durvalino Carioca. After having played for 36 minutes, Cauan Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bastioes EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Joar Lilja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Durvalino Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Wilson Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bastioes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvald Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

51 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Arce came free, but Osvald Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Joar Lilja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gnaget United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bastioes EC's João Paulo Paraense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Bastioes EC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Hugo Pihlblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson Arce helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Bastioes EC's zone, Nicky Butt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Paraense came out of the goal and Nicky Butt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvald Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Carioca in the 84th minute of the match. Bastioes EC's João Paulo Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Lilja in the 88th minute of play. João Paulo Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Pihlblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
