The referee ignored Bastioes EC's protests and gave Wilson Arce a yellow card for diving instead. Cristóvão Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Carioca in the 21st minute of the match. If Cauan Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Fluminense di Parma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Marcos Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Queiroz got free with Valdir Ferraz in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristóvão Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Horácio Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fluminense di Parma's protests and gave Horácio Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. Cristóvão Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Carioca in the 35th minute of the match. Valdir Ferraz was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Celso Pena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celso Pena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Gilberto Queiroz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 44th minute, Kiko Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Arce was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Wilson Arce hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Marcos Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Fluminense di Parma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Valdir Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Queiroz in the 67th minute of play. Durvalino Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fluminense di Parma's Dito Gaúcho got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Marcos Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Marcos Dionísio made a precise shot to the right of Valdir Ferraz. Bastioes EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Fluminense di Parma players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
