La Cosa Nostra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Bakar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Uljas Heinola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Cosa Nostra's Rodolfo Bakar got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, Palloketut's Salomon Itäluoma made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Urre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atilano Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Itäluoma in the 26th minute of the match. Atilano Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarre Lajunen in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Aarre Lajunen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilano Urre. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aarre Lajunen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rami Lehto in the 39th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Atilano Urre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rami Lehto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aarre Lajunen to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Cosa Nostra's zone, Salomon Itäluoma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Urre came out of the goal and Salomon Itäluoma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Bakar to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salomon Itäluoma to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Itäluoma. In the 59th minute, Rodolfo Bakar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Rami Lehto came free, but Atilano Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teppo Keskinarkaus charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teppo Keskinarkaus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Teppo Keskinarkaus got a free kick in the 70th minute. Iso Kuula kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jimi Nyrhinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palloketut's goalkeeper Jimi Nyrhinen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iso Kuula kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Bakar in the 91st minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Jimi Nyrhinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Palloketut defense, Rodolfo Bakar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimi Nyrhinen. The Palloketut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimi Nyrhinen should have stopped the shot. Palloketut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
