The La Cosa Nostra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Urre should have stopped the shot.

After 54 minutes of play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Sandrinho Quintal made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Urre was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Laerte Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laureano Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Sandrinho Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Atilano Urre made a huge save. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Bakar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wesley Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Vágner Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Quintal. In the 70th minute, João Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Endura in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Meira saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Atilano Urre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandrinho Quintal. After 81 minutes of play, La Cosa Nostra's Laureano Endura made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
