Zdzislaw Sniegowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Dahlman in the 8th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, FC Jones's goalkeeper Rami Kangasalusta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezary Hatman. Juha-Pekka Nurminen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uoti Myllynen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Kullervo Laulaja kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Jones getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jarmo Vainio hit a great ball. A hard shot 33 in the game by Cezary Hatman from a close distance when the talented Rami Kangasalusta managed to make a qualified save. FC Jones's players were relieved. After 34 minutes, Janusz Balkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zawisza Bydgoszcz and the FC Jones players grew even worse after the yellow card. Janusz Balkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Rami Kangasalusta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Beniamin Rzegotka.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezary Hatman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaarle Pölönen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bogumil Betonowy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogumil Betonowy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rami Kangasalusta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Janusz Balkiewicz hit a great ball. Rami Kangasalusta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Hatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Kosti Markkanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Jones made a substitution. Juha-Pekka Mäkinen replaced Patrick Dahlman. FC Jones's Veeti Hietalahti was substituted for Uoti Myllynen. After 76 played minutes FC Jones got a freekick which was hit by Kosti Markkanen. 93 minutes into the match, FC Jones's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Hatman came free, but Rami Kangasalusta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
