When Gerardo Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Deportivo Messina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Jaunti couldn't finish the play. Pelle Kvalfält didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Messina's zone, Rasmus Ferm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Gartzen came out of the goal and Rasmus Ferm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Frosta Härad IF's Jan-Erik Britz in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Messina's goalie prevented a goal. Pelle Kvalfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Serafino Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Frosta Härad IF's Jan-Erik Britz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Gartzen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Zeledon Gartzen came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Frosta Härad IF's Rasmus Ferm. But to his dismay, Rasmus Ferm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 39 minutes into the game, Frosta Härad IF's Rasmus Ferm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Gartzen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rasmus Ferm in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Gartzen saved Deportivo Messina from getting behind. A collision led to Frosta Härad IF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Egil Walroth hit a great ball.

After having played for 53 minutes, Serafino Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Messina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Jan-Erik Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gartzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Hansson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Hansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zeledon Gartzen was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Rasmus Ferm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rasmus Ferm really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When Angelino Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Messina's protests and gave Angelino Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Deportivo Messina got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Dominic. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Ferm got free with Zeledon Gartzen in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafino Weather charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Weather the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Frosta Härad IF booed when Deportivo Messina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rasmus Ferm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Gartzen having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Rasmus Ferm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeledon Gartzen. Rasmus Ferm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The supporters of Deportivo Messina booed when Frosta Härad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Ferm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Walroth hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Messina's Ciro Chuan tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Jan-Erik Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gartzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frosta Härad IF were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Deportivo Messina's much stronger midfield.
