Gábor Vadas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Natan Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Fülöp in the 11th minute of play. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Natan Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félix Pénzes in the 16th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Royal Antwerp F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Vissenaeckens. Royal Antwerp F.C. were furious when Antonio Vissenaeckens was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Royal Antwerp F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute, Pál Fülöp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natan Labrouche was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 32nd minute Ákos Bökönyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natan Labrouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Royal Antwerp F.C. defense, Félix Pénzes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natan Labrouche. The Royal Antwerp F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natan Labrouche should have stopped the shot. Gábor Vadas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward De Wilde in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Rákóczifalva SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dániel Kutasi to maneuver through the defense. When Ward De Wilde came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Royal Antwerp F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ward De Wilde couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raf Snijers was the one to do the kick off. Gábor Vadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Justens in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Raf Snijers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Raf Snijers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gábor Vadas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wannes Tielemans kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Sándor Berényi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Rákóczifalva SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sándor Berényi couldn't finish the play. Raf Snijers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pál Fülöp scored 3-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natan Labrouche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 minutes, Dániel Kutasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rákóczifalva SE and the Royal Antwerp F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dániel Kutasi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Wannes Tielemans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gábor Vadas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Royal Antwerp F.C. reached it. Natan Labrouche didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 3-4. After 90 played minutes Rákóczifalva SE got a freekick which was hit by Dániel Kutasi. In the 91st match minute, Rákóczifalva SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Ambrus to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rákóczifalva SE's zone, Wannes Tielemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gábor Vadas came out of the goal and Wannes Tielemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Natan Labrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félix Pénzes in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Natan Labrouche got control of the ball when Pál Fülöp tried to sneak it across the goal line.
