Renos Sioulas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when AEK KAVALAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chrisostomos Kyriakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, AEK KAVALAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joe De Raedemaeker came free, but Renos Sioulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Flamenco United's Giovanni Van Bael got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Chrisostomos Kyriakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK KAVALAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chrisostomos Kyriakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Vereyt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 minutes, Gillis Van Dongel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamenco United and the AEK KAVALAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 30 in the game by Yannik Imberechts from a close distance when the talented Renos Sioulas managed to make a qualified save. AEK KAVALAS FC's players were relieved. Evripidis Sparos charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evripidis Sparos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AEK KAVALAS FC's Evripidis Sparos got a free kick in the 35th minute. AEK KAVALAS FC's attentive Telis Moras managed to snatch the ball when Cedric Widdepenninck made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gillis Van Dongel made a kick off. Markos Chiotis's late challenge caught a Flamenco United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markos Chiotis helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes AEK KAVALAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Markos Chiotis. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Charlie Vereyt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Yannik Imberechts came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Flamenco United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannik Imberechts couldn't finish the play. After having played for 64 minutes, Joe De Raedemaeker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamenco United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joe De Raedemaeker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, Flamenco United's Yannik Imberechts made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renos Sioulas was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Kleanthis Kostakoglou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 76th minute, Gillis Van Dongel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamenco United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 79th minute, Kleanthis Kostakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renos Sioulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Imberechts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, AEK KAVALAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Chiotis to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes AEK KAVALAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Markos Chiotis. Chrisostomos Kyriakos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flamenco United had played much better football throughout.
