Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Max Gómez got the match started through his kick off. Xose Cantiello hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Joe Garcia hit a great ball. In the 7th minute of the match Xacobo Rico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beto Urane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Lozano got free with Ubaldo Matildo Armani in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Lozano during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Alex Lozano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes, Ríver Late's Tauro Sandoval shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beto Urane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ríver Late reached it. Beto Urane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xose Cantiello in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xose Cantiello in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Urane saved GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. from getting behind. In the 19th minute Frantxizko Olarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Urane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felipe Batista hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Vitin Campon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ríver Late defense, Max Gómez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Armani. The Ríver Late fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Matildo Armani should have stopped the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Ríver Late's Erlantz Penilla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Urane was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Xose Cantiello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ríver Late fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Ríver Late's Xose Cantiello in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Ríver Late were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frantxizko Olarte was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Xose Cantiello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ríver Late fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Erlantz Penilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Beto Urane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Erlantz Penilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Urane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emenon Borrego's late challenge caught a GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emenon Borrego helped the player get up and apologised. Emenon Borrego hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Matildo Armani came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Max Gómez. But to his dismay, Max Gómez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 85 minutes into the game, Ríver Late's Xose Cantiello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Urane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When Xose Cantiello fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ríver Late's protests and gave Xose Cantiello a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xose Cantiello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erlantz Penilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ríver Late left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C..
