Frantxizko Olarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliodor Sădeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Erlantz Penilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliodor Sădeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 65 minutes into the game, Erlantz Penilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Eliodor Sădeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ubaldo Matildo Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavius Pătrășcanu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Erlantz Penilla charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erlantz Penilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Erlantz Penilla hit a great ball. Eliodor Sădeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xose Cantiello in the 86th minute of play. If Frantxizko Olarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by Marin Bârza. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when Emerald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nistor Constantiniu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute of the match Erlantz Penilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliodor Sădeanu skillfully saved the ball. Emerald's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
