When Paolo Erlantz fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Belén's protests and gave Paolo Erlantz a yellow card for diving instead. Severo Lordi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Johans. Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco Goizeders short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Paolo Eduino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fratelli Branca in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Johans saved Defensores de Belén from getting behind. Herminio Irrintzi's late challenge caught a El Branca del Vieja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Irrintzi helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Defensores de Belén got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Irrintzi. If Marco Goizeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Precioso in the 26th minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper David Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Defensores de Belén got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Erlantz. In the 28th minute, Jorge Veremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fratelli Branca in the 34th minute of play. David Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Precioso in the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Edgard Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Branca del Vieja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Precioso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

David Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fratelli Branca in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Johans saved Defensores de Belén from getting behind. Mauricio Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. David Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Johans came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by El Branca del Vieja's Fratelli Branca. But to his dismay, Fratelli Branca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. David Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Precioso in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Belén's Herminio Irrintzi got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 71st play minutes Fratelli Branca shot 0-4, a short shot which went by David Johans and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Fratelli Branca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Johans was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Fratelli Branca put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of David Johans. Defensores de Belén's David Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Precioso in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Fratelli Branca lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated David Johans. Paolo Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Fratelli Branca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 minutes of play, El Branca del Vieja's Fratelli Branca made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Johans was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Defensores de Belén getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Herminio Irrintzi hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fratelli Branca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Johans. That made the score 0-8 in the 88 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fratelli Branca got free with David Johans in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Johans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Precioso in the 93rd minute of the match. When Herminio Irrintzi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. Herminio Irrintzi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Defensores de Belén booed when El Branca del Vieja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. J.P. Branca didn't get a good kick on the ball.
