The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th play minute Marcinho Vianna came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julian Librado. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Luiz Guilherme de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Librado was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjamim Trancoso was slow to take the kick. During this time Sipo EC's players had a chance to rest. In the 34th minute, Agustin Irrintzi made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Maciel. Sipo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Julian Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Messias in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Gar Chadov got a free kick in the 41st minute. A collision led to Los Hijos de Doña Beija getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gar Chadov hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Julian Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Marcinho Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Librado. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcinho Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Benjamim Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Agustin Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Celso Berart reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cacá Maciel. The goal made the score 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Irrintzi in the 74th minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Cacá Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Marcinho Vianna got a free kick in the 77th minute. Fidel Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Maciel having to interfere. When Aurelio Primo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hijos de Doña Beija's protests and gave Aurelio Primo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Primo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Agustin Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goalkeeper Cacá Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Irrintzi. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Berart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Maciel having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
