In the 14th play minute Faustão Maciel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eleazar Betzanos. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, the mills's goalkeeper Eleazar Betzanos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago da Silva. If Thiago da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Egoi Zambranos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago da Silvas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Eleazar Betzanos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 26 minutes the mills's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Faustão Maciel who took care of the corner kick. Thiago da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of the mills booed when ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Luiz Fernando Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galsino Vime in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to the mills getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Egoi Zambranos hit a great ball. Eleazar Betzanos made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Thiago da Silva sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
