The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when Facopo FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jörg Mackert made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Jarbas Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséias Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danko Riediger, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Joélson Machado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jörg Mackert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Joélson Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jörg Mackert. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Oswaldo Torres scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörg Mackert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jörg Mackert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Machado in the 35th minute of the match. Jörg Mackert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Cássio Rezende took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörg Mackert. Jörg Mackert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Fricker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored SV Bad Harzburg's protests and gave Larry von Stetten a yellow card for diving instead. Roger Rintzel's late challenge caught a Facopo FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Rintzel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Facopo FBPA booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Rintzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Favoretto during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Richter to maneuver through the defense. Jörg Mackert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
