Los Guacho Pistola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Aurken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salvador Futebol Clube's zone, Freddy Aurken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fernando Batista came out of the goal and Freddy Aurken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Arruda hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Domingos Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Ferraz in the 18th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Paulão Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Guacho Pistola's Domingos Urtzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingos Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Valladares in the 30th minute of play. Paulão Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Urtzi having to interfere. Domingos Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Conrado Arruda took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Urtzi. Domingos Urtzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The wind increased when Paulão Valladares made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Conrado Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Valladares in the 56th minute of the match. With 58 minutes on the clock, Benigno Terciero commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Domingos Urtzi, was totally fooled by Salvador Futebol Clube's Wiliam de Sousa, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Luís Fernando Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Cutberto in the 69th minute of the match. Salvador Futebol Clube's Paulão Valladares was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some careless play in the Salvador Futebol Clube defense, Freddy Aurken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fernando Batista. The Salvador Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fernando Batista should have stopped the shot. Albino Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Albino Cutberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, one of Salvador Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salvador Futebol Clube. Luís Fernando Batista went to the wrong direction when Dante Tanio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 88 minutes, Tomas Nisio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Guacho Pistola and the Salvador Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Tomas Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Los Guacho Pistola supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salvador Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Salvador Futebol Clube.
