A collision led to Los Guacho Pistola getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Dante Tanio hit a great ball. Diederick Struelens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Domingos Urtzi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Diederick Struelens succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. Diederick Struelens might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Urtzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diederick Struelens ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bart De Koq hit a great ball. Domingos Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diederick Struelens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diederick Struelens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Domingos Urtzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Domingos Urtzi made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Diederick Struelens sent off a good shot on target. Los Guacho Pistola were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Purple Talents's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dante Tanio took the corner. Albino Cutberto hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Vic De Bruyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Freddy Aurken came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Los Guacho Pistola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Aurken couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Eddy Claes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Purple Talents's Brecht De Wortelaer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Guacho Pistola. When Jasper Libreghts fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Talents's protests and gave Jasper Libreghts a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Christoph Hagemans managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Los Guacho Pistola's Freddy Aurken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christoph Hagemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Nisio in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Guacho Pistola defense, Diederick Struelens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Urtzi. The Los Guacho Pistola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Urtzi should have stopped the shot. In the 70thth minute of the game Diederick Struelens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Guacho Pistola's Domingos Urtzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddy Claes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Bart De Koq charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bart De Koq the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bart De Koq kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Diederick Struelens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Urtzi was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Claes in the 90th minute of play forced Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Domingos Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Diederick Struelens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Purple Talents fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Guacho Pistola players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Purple Talents.
