Stefan Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Flavio Suarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stefan Målare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Övertorneå RK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Torbjörn Enström hit a great ball. After 21 minutes of play Övertorneå RK's Jens-Ola Ståhlberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jens-Ola Ståhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Godofredo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jimmy Eckegren fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Övertorneå RK's protests and gave Jimmy Eckegren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Road To Glory booed when Övertorneå RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Eckegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Albino Brais sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Målare skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Garoa in the 28th minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Stefan Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Robin Blomberg fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Övertorneå RK's protests and gave Robin Blomberg a yellow card for diving instead. Robin Blomberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Stefan Målare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Suarez went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Aureliano Garoa took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Målare. Stefan Målare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 44th minute Flavio Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Övertorneå RK's zone, Aureliano Garoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Målare came out of the goal and Aureliano Garoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Övertorneå RK's Stefan Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Garoa in the 54th minute of play. Stefan Målare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Brais in the 56th minute. Stefan Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Torbjörn Enström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Stefan Målare successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aureliano Garoa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Stefan Målare 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Aureliano Garoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefan Målare. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Stefan Målare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Övertorneå RK's Stefan Målare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Övertorneå RK from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute Aureliano Garoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Road To Glory booed when Övertorneå RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Övertorneå RK's zone, Albino Brais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Målare came out of the goal and Albino Brais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Målare made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Flavio Suarez sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Garoa came free, but Stefan Målare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Övertorneå RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Road To Glory were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
