The tension between the Puerto de Sagunto CF and the VERDOLAGA CITY FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute Oliverio Leonor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garaona Camino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telesforo De Paula during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Telesforo De Paula hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Mario Puredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garaona Camino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Telesforo De Paula took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Horacio Iglesias to make any attempt to save it. Garaona Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terciero Orantes in the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute, Mario Puredo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Garaona Camino, passed just outside the right post. 59 minutes into the match, Telesforo De Paula notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Horacio Iglesias. Horacio Iglesias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Garaona Camino was a little too slow when Oliverio Leonor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Telesforo De Paula came free, but Horacio Iglesias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, one of Puerto de Sagunto CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 79th minute, Iratxo Arizmendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garaona Camino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverio Leonor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolome Erosa hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Nevada Uria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Iglesias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Terciero Orantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Pascua hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Garaona Camino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Puerto de Sagunto CF from getting a goal against them. The Puerto de Sagunto CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VERDOLAGA CITY FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
