In the 8th match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Diniz to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Salles to maneuver through the defense. Armandinho Salgado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Mayo were furious when Ralph Durrant was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 23 played minutes Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Durrant. In the 25th minute Marcinho Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Lampard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Lampard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Olívio Viana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dave Lampard. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. The supporters of THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ booed when Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Cheetham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Dom Midson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Tyler Almond got a free kick in the 45th minute. Maicon Mazza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 48th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dean Cheetham was the one to do the kick off. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Mazinho Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mayo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jeremy Alcock hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Viana in the 62nd minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Dave Lampard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Salgado came free, but Dave Lampard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Dom Midson got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Dylon Sutherland fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mayo's protests and gave Dylon Sutherland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Dylon Sutherland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Lampard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olívio Viana went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Edvaldo Hoffmann hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Olívio Viana hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Dean Cheetham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Cheetham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazinho Brodel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Mazinho Brodel got control of the ball when Dean Cheetham tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 98 played minutes THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Salgado. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
