Teo Teodor charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Teodor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when racingdueño de una pasion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitris Koukoulas to strike the kick off in the second half. Alkaios Tsionas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Aris Kolitsis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ambrosio Precioso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Aznaro during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ambrosio Precioso came out of the goal and Stelios Panagiotidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Go Ahead Eagles were the better team. Go Ahead Eagles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
