Gavica Enderica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Travis Milligan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Lecea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sotomayor Pendones in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geoffrey Calderwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geoffrey Calderwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotomayor Pendones in the 16th minute of play. Houston Fire F.C.'s Geoffrey Calderwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lloret in the 18th minute of play. Gavica Enderica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Metzger, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Gustavo Lloret made a precise shot to the right of Geoffrey Calderwood. Houston Fire F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto McPherson came free, but Gavica Enderica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Sotomayor Pendones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Houston Fire F.C.'s Geoffrey Calderwood was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Kaviedes Alcubierre managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Philotimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaviedes Alcubierre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geoffrey Calderwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Houston Fire F.C. defense, Gustavo Lloret kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geoffrey Calderwood. The Houston Fire F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geoffrey Calderwood should have stopped the shot. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Houston Fire F.C.! After 42 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Lecea. Houston Fire F.C.'s Geoffrey Calderwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotomayor Pendones in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Lloret was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Philotimo's Gustavo Lloret slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geoffrey Calderwood. That made the score 0-5 after 55 minutes of play. Felix Artiaga hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Houston Fire F.C. booed when FC Philotimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paredes Repiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Felix Artiaga fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Philotimo's protests and gave Felix Artiaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, FC Philotimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Artiaga to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th match minute, FC Philotimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paredes Repiso to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Lloret showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 96 minutes into the game, Sotomayor Pendones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Geoffrey Calderwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Houston Fire F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Philotimo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
