Themistoklis Charalambakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asrın Savtuna in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Koulis Psomiadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Themistoklis Charalambakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uygur Acıbadem, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes, Asrın Savtuna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fear Of The Dark and the Go Ahead Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Asrın Savtuna hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Themistoklis Charalambakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Sanat in the 16th minute of play. Namık Acabey hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Fear Of The Dark got a freekick which was hit by Varol Hatmi. After 23 minutes, Bünyamin İlbey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fear Of The Dark and the Go Ahead Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fear Of The Dark getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bünyamin İlbey hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Aris Kolitsis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Akil Kırman, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Koukoulas in the 28th minute of play forced Fear Of The Dark's goalkeeper Akil Kırman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dimitris Koukoulas sped through Fear Of The Dark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Akil Kırman. In the 34th minute Dimitris Koukoulas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akil Kırman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fear Of The Dark's Ahmet Rıfat Zülfü got a free kick in the 38th minute. Akil Kırman was a little too slow when Dimitris Koukoulas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Barış Sanat made a kick off. Namık Acabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themistoklis Charalambakis having to interfere. If Thanasis Tsipas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Themistoklis Charalambakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asrın Savtuna, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Dimitris Koukoulas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Akil Kırman. Fear Of The Dark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Koukoulas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Dimitris Koukoulas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Akil Kırman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akil Kırman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Koukoulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fear Of The Dark getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Asrın Savtuna hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Go Ahead Eagles had played much better football throughout.
