The supporters of Forest Green booed when Salmiyah Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boughera Benmabrouk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Boughera Benmabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salmiyah Power's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boughera Benmabrouk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Fadhil Meniri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Forest Green's Elvio Galtero. Elvio Galtero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Salmiyah Power's Abdelhamid Menguellet got a free kick in the 19th minute. Abdelhamid Menguellet struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. With 75 minutes on the clock, Mohamed Abdi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Salmiyah Power's Mohamed Abdi got a free kick in the 75th minute. Paolo Cordearo, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 79th minute Fadhil Meniri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Forest Green's goalkeeper Elvio Galtero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fadhil Meniri. Elvio Galtero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boughera Zeghdoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salmiyah Power's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
