Toto Caputo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of VINEIRO FC booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordero Casuso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Anastasio Miliano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VINEIRO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Constantino Lucado scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johans Ortubia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Torne to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Monitor Huáscar's zone, Marcial Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johans Ortubia came out of the goal and Marcial Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Oxel Viñales could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Toto Caputo however easily saved by the left post. Johans Ortubia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Anastasio Miliano took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johans Ortubia. Johans Ortubia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Johans Ortubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Miliano in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Clemente Mergildo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Johans Ortubia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Anastasio Miliano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johans Ortubia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 47th minute, Constantino Lucado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VINEIRO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Mergildo was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monitor Huáscar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VINEIRO FC the free kick. Toto Caputo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emesto Devesa in the 63rd minute of the match.
