With a little luck, Gold Army 1923's Binali İnanöz got control of the ball when Gilbert Kleen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kingpins were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Gold Army 1923's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patric Eliasson took the corner. The corner led to Kingpins's Jon Östlund getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Gold Army 1923's Altuğ Çelik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Beckman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Ralf Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Beckman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altuğ Çelik in the 29th minute of the match. Jon Östlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Binali İnanöz made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Altuğ Çelik came free, but Andy Beckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Gold Army 1923 got a freekick which was hit by Abdulaziz Tomurcuk. In the 35th minute, Altuğ Çelik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jon Östlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Gold Army 1923 got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nafiz Rahmi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Kleen in the 57th minute of play forced Gold Army 1923's goalkeeper Binali İnanöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kingpins's zone, Okanalp Akata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Beckman came out of the goal and Okanalp Akata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Holm hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Kingpins's Ove Modig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Binali İnanöz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
