The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Fc Pawonków got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Osowski. Bogdan Ludzia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Villacorta in the 8th minute of play. Giovani Mendoza charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovani Mendoza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dagoberto Berrueta kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Alisson Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Drab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Real Juniors booed when Fc Pawonków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Kosel didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Felipe Barraza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Real Juniors's Alisson Becker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Real Juniors from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Radomil Drab made the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Ludzia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Gallegos in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomil Drab during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Fc Pawonków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Drab to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomil Drab in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alisson Becker saved Real Juniors from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Radomil Drab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes in the game Giovani Mendoza did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Lozano. 87 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Drab came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Real Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Lozano to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
