Adriano Leite hit a great ball. 3 minutes into the game, Alexandria Team08's Gheorghe Leucuța nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Cristinel Focșa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Breguete FC's Júlio Soares didn't even have to move. Erivaldo Rezende hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Enio Dias hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Alexandria Team08's Cristinel Focșa got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Sanches. Júlio Soares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gheorghe Leucuța showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Júlio Soares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristinel Focșa. In the 26th minute, Niculae Corvin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexandria Team08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Breguete FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Niculae Corvin scored to the left of an out of position Júlio Soares, making the score, 4-0. Thanks to some nice moves Gheorghe Leucuța could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Júlio Soares however easily saved by the left post. Luiz Gustavo Sanches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Isăcescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Albert Balint fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alexandria Team08's protests and gave Albert Balint a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Júlio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Corvin in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Fabian Isăcescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goalkeeper Júlio Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gheorghe Leucuța. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo Sanches was the one to do the kick off. Niculae Corvin took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Soares. Júlio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Júlio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Corvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Adriano Leite hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Niculae Corvin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Júlio Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Júlio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Leucuța in the 61st minute of play. If Niculae Corvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Leucuța received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Júlio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gheorghe Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Soares having to interfere. Alexandria Team08's Bogdan Goma was substituted for Cristinel Focșa. Niculae Corvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Cruz. Gheorghe Leucuța took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Soares. Júlio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 89 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Santos. Flavius Zdrenghea hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Luiz Gustavo Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabian Isăcescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
