Spectators: 194 (Terracing: 146, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Ongile Reguer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Udalaitz Vinuesa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Udalaitz Vinuesa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Deportivo Popolizio FBC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Udalaitz Vinuesa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Udalaitz Vinuesa hit a great ball. Artizar Melic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brenton Carrasco in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Varennes got a corner. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Randell McCullough ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie and right to Lee Coffman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Varennes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lee Coffman hit a great ball. Pierres Baz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brice Leach. Varennes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Brice Leach managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Ongile Reguer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ongile Reguer's late challenge caught a Varennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ongile Reguer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ongile Reguer hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Gabon Castrejana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Gabon Castrejana got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Lee Coffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 minutes Varennes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pierres Baz who took care of the corner kick. After 28 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Ellsworth Lindsay. Pierres Baz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brice Leach. Varennes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adolphe Murdock hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Brice Leach was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pierres Baz. Felicien Mooney hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Felicien Mooney kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ongile Reguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brice Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Varennes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Loic Deal hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ongile Reguer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ongile Reguer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Leach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Varennes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ellsworth Lindsay to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ongile Reguer in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Leach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elodio Heras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Leach having to interfere. The supporters of Varennes booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eguerdi Comacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Artizar Melic got control of the ball when Loic Deal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artizar Melic was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Loic Deal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. Ellsworth Lindsay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ongile Reguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Leach having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Cesareo Milla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Popolizio FBC and the Varennes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Varennes booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesareo Milla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Felicien Mooney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Pierres Baz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brice Leach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ongile Reguer's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Desire Remirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Leach having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randell McCullough to maneuver through the defense. Brice Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ongile Reguer in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Ongile Reguer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varennes's Brice Leach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Varennes's performance. The match ended with a win for Varennes.
