Edward Kornatowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's Edward Kornatowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Augusto Falcão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauã Maciel during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Edward Kornatowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Augusto Falcão. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Augusto Falcão should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, União Verde FC's José Augusto Falcão got control of the ball when Edward Kornatowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pawel Mielczarek struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. José Augusto Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galena Kielce. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Edward Kornatowski made the kick off in the second half. José Augusto Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Ptaszek in the 54th minute of the match. If Edward Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Kornatowski kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cauã Maciel got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Cauã Maciel got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Edward Kornatowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Edward Kornatowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Augusto Falcão came out of the goal and Edward Kornatowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galena Kielce had played much better football throughout.
