Tamás Lányi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Chuse having to make a save. 4 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Lányi came free, but Saverio Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes in the game Jacobo Diagur did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eusebio Bela. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Róbert Végvári hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Handi in the 11th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Márton Gombos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márton Gombos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Águilas Poblanas's Desiderio Handi. But to his dismay, Desiderio Handi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Lányi came free, but Saverio Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márton Gombos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Guerau in the 27th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Águilas Poblanas's Márton Gombos threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Virgilio Guerau, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 28 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Estavan. Jacobo Diagur's late challenge caught a Sporting Savaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Diagur helped the player get up and apologised. Jacobo Diagur hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jacobo Diagur made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Savaria's Csaba Veress. Tamás Lányi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Saverio Chuse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Savaria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dávid Núñez in the 38th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Saverio Chuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Dávid Núñez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Lányi in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desiderio Handi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse got control of the ball when Tamás Lányi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Sporting Savaria's Tamás Lányi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saverio Chuse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Águilas Poblanas from getting a goal against them. When Virgilio Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Águilas Poblanas's protests and gave Virgilio Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Guerau to maneuver through the defense. Tamás Lányi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Saverio Chuse skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sporting Savaria's Csaba Veress quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jacobo Diagur, made in the 74th minute of the game. Águilas Poblanas's Saverio Chuse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Águilas Poblanas from getting a goal against them. Saverio Chuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tamás Lányi in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Águilas Poblanas defense, Tamás Lányi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saverio Chuse. The Águilas Poblanas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Chuse should have stopped the shot.
