In the 12th minute, Cauan Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Handi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Epifanio Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cauan Marinho spun around in front of the goal 18 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tierra del Fuego FC's goal. A collision led to Tierra del Fuego FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Reynaldo Abeita hit a great ball. Cauan Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Handi having to interfere. The supporters of Tierra del Fuego FC booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Reynaldo Abeita fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tierra del Fuego FC's protests and gave Reynaldo Abeita a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Reynaldo Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tierra del Fuego FC's Epifanio Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Marinho in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tierra del Fuego FC defense, Cauan Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Handi. The Tierra del Fuego FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Handi should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Patricio Arixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tierra del Fuego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vista Alegre FC the free kick. The Vista Alegre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Elano Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Cauan Marinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Handi. Tierra del Fuego FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cauan Marinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Cristofol to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 84th minute Elano Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Vista Alegre FC's Cauan Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Handi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Chucho during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tierra del Fuego FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Vista Alegre FC. Elano Montenegro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Epifanio Handi. 0-10. Honorio Cristofol's late challenge caught a Vista Alegre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Cristofol helped the player get up and apologised. Vista Alegre FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
