Gilbert Wieczorek was slow to take the kick. During this time A State Of Trance's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dariusz Dudkowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ivan Jurčina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Ochabski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Feliks Ochabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Jurčina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes in the game Peter Ducký did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Róbert Tomáš. In the 21st match minute, A State Of Trance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Bielecki to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match, Feliks Ochabski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivan Jurčina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Melon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Ochabski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boris Salaj was the one to do the kick off. FC Melon's Ivan Jurčina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Dziura in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Salaj in the 54th minute of play forced A State Of Trance's goalkeeper Damian Wallach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Dudkowski in the 55th minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Ivan Jurčina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliks Ochabski might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Jurčina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliks Ochabski took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Jurčina. After a defensive mix-up in FC Melon's zone, Norbert Dziura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Jurčina came out of the goal and Norbert Dziura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A State Of Trance's Miroslaw Deput was substituted for Wincent Bielecki. A State Of Trance's Benedykt Flis was substituted for Norbert Dziura. Ivan Jurčina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Ochabski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliks Ochabski in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Jurčina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes FC Melon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedykt Flis who took care of the corner kick. Ivan Jurčina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Ochabski in the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, FC Melon's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Ochabski came free, but Ivan Jurčina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes FC Melon got a freekick which was hit by Juraj Sarvaš. Ivan Jurčina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Ochabski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes, A State Of Trance's Szczepan Piatek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Jurčina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A State Of Trance reached it.
