The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Sören Enegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnoldo Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Elliott Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Fidencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Strand in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Arnoldo Vincent left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo de Mar del fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo de Mar del's German Pinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elliott Bremming made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Pepsi FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Pepsi FC's Sören Enegren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pepsi FC's goalkeeper Elliott Bremming, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Cleto Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Enegren in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute German Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Bremming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Vincent made a kick off. Pepsi FC's Elliott Bremming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pepsi FC from getting a goal against them. When German Pinto got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Elliott Bremming was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Pepsi FC's Elliott Bremming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Pinto in the 57th minute of play. Cleto Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Enegren in the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo de Mar del's German Pinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elliott Bremming. That made the score 1-3 after 60 minutes of play. Markus Strand scored 2-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Fidencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 68 in the game by Arnoldo Vincent from a close distance when the talented Elliott Bremming managed to make a qualified save. Pepsi FC's players were relieved. Sören Enegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Fidencio having to interfere. Markus Strand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Fidencio having to make a save. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Cleto Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Strand in the 79th minute of play. Cleto Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Enegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Angelino Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Elliott Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
