In the 3rd minute, Zlatan BK's Lars Örtlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Désiré Verdy. Désiré Verdy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the Zlatan BK defense, Hector Madiot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Pihl. The Zlatan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Pihl should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Versannat's Adil Villedieu got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes, Zlatan BK's Kim Njurenius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Désiré Verdy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zlatan BK reached it. Billy Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Madiot, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Billy Pihl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Madiot's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of Zlatan BK booed when Versannat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adil Villedieu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Madiot in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Gunnar Wester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Désiré Verdy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adil Villedieu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Versannat fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Kim Njurenius charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Njurenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Kim Njurenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Désiré Verdy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Salqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gunnar Wester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Désiré Verdy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zlatan BK made a substitution. Tom Andberg replaced Gunnar Wester. Zlatan BK made a substitution. Jens-Åke Josefsson replaced Lars Örtlund. In the 72nd minute, Kim Njurenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Désiré Verdy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 75 minutes into the match, Versannat's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Andberg came free, but Désiré Verdy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jens-Åke Josefsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zlatan BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When Zlatan BK's Valentin Salqvist in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Versannat's Désiré Verdy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Josefsson in the 93rd minute of play. When Thor Månsson fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zlatan BK's protests and gave Thor Månsson a yellow card for diving instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zlatan BK had played much better football throughout.
